Technical Sales – Mechanical Engineer

Job Function: Sales, Business Development                                                                                                                                        

Power & Technology is looking out for an experienced Technical Sales – Mechanical Engineer to lead, manage and drive sales for the Mechanical department.

Don’t apply if you:

  • Don’t have 1-2 years of Technical Sales experience (UAE) in Pneumatic/Hydraulic products
  • Don’t have a valid UAE Driving license
  • Don’t have a Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • Aren’t fluent in English

Your routine at work:

  • As a Technical Sales – Mechanical Engineer, you’ll use your experience along with sales skills to provide support and assistance on different Pneumatic/Hydraulic products such as Gas springs, Drains, Valves, Actuators, Regulators, etc.
  • You’ll assist team members with bids and tenders for new clients
  • Clients are usually from the Industrial automation industries
  • The job role depends upon the level of technical skills needed to sell a specific product or service
  • You will be a key point of contact and provide the best possible sales & technical advice
  • You’ll interact regularly with other members of the sales team and colleagues from a range of departments: Sales, Purchasing, Accounts, Marketing & Senior Management

Responsibilities:

  • Search for new clients who might be interested in company products or services and maximize client potential in assigned regions
  • Visit clients and persuade them that a product or service is best for their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery
  • Calculate client quotations and monitor them
  • Estimate and analyze costs and sales figures
  • Negotiate tender along with company policy and conditions to meet both client and company needs
  • Develop long-term relation with clients through understanding and interpreting their requirements
  • Meet monthly sales targets and manage sales projects
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, exhibitions and other promotional and marketing events if necessary
  • Liaise with other members of the sales team and senior management

Office Timings:

We are working Saturdays to Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
